Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to influence the nervous system, circulation, and muscle function. Most people find the treatment comfortable and deeply relaxing. By helping regulate the body’s natural processes, acupuncture can reduce pain and inflammation, release muscle tension, improve sleep, support digestion, and calm stress responses. Treatments are tailored to your individual symptoms, health history, and goals.

Acupuncture is commonly used for musculoskeletal pain, headaches, stress-related conditions, and a wide range of internal health concerns. It can be used on its own or alongside conventional medical care, physical therapy, or other treatments. At Peninsula Acupuncture, sessions may also incorporate techniques such as cupping, electrical stimulation, or personalized herbal recommendations when appropriate, with the goal of helping you feel better, function better, and maintain long-term health.

Our massage therapy services support pain relief, injury recovery, improved mobility, and overall well-being. Our therapists are trained in a range of approaches—including clinical neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue work, myofascial release, movement-informed bodywork, prenatal massage, and relaxation techniques—so each session can be tailored to your specific needs. Whether you are dealing with a defined pain condition, recovering from physical strain, or simply feeling tight and overworked, treatment is focused, practical, and responsive to your goals.

Massage can also play an important role in stress reduction, restorative care, and ongoing maintenance of physical health. Sessions may be used on their own or integrated with acupuncture and other services as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Our goal is to provide effective, individualized care that helps you feel better, move more comfortably, and return to your daily activities with less pain and tension.

Lymphatic Therapy (LMD)

Manual lymphatic drainage is a hands-on therapy characterized by profoundly gentle touch. It uses light, rhythmic strokes to map the flow of your lymphatic system. This technique requires the steady, loving precision of an experienced therapist to move fluid toward the lymph nodes for drainage.

Acupressure & Reiki

When pressed, they release tension and allow life-force energy to flow freely again. Reiki: Combined with acupressure, Reiki channels high-vibrational healing energy into the session. Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki focuses ... Read More
